Inter could ask Cagliari for a discount on the fee to make the signing of wingback Raoul Bellanova permanent next summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via L’Interista, who report that the Nerazzurri may try and sign the 22-year-old permanently for less than the purchase option contained in his loan deal from the Rossoblu.

Bellanova joined Inter on an initial loan from Cagliari during the summer transfer window.

The deal contains an option on the Nerazzurri’s part to make the deal a permanent one.

Inter are not yet certain on whether they want to sign Bellanova on a permanent basis, as he has yet to really establish himself apart from a handful of performances.

However, the 22-year-old is still considered a serious prospect for the future.

Accordingly, the Nerazzurri could try and ask the Sardinians for a discount on the fee in order to keep Bellanova.
