Flamengo and former Inter, Juventus, Bayern Munich and Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal feels that his old teammate Milan Skriniar showed his propensity to be in the right place at the right time in a friendly clash between Chile and Slovakia.

Speaking to the press after the match, as reported by FCInterNews, the Chilean spoke about his former teammate being fortunate to get his body in the way on a few occasions during the 0-0 draw,

Skriniar has become known for his highly physically committed style of defending while at Inter.

The 27-year-old is known for making physical blocks, which tend to be a combination of positional awareness, reflexes, physicality, and as Vidal talks about, a bit of luck to find himself in the way of shots and crosses.

The Chilean midfielder joked about a goalline clearance made by Skriniar that prevented the Chileans from scoring, noting that “He was a bit lucky there, sometimes he got lucky like that at Inter.”

“He managed to get in the way to deflect the ball off the line,” he added.
