Inter could be ready to allow forward Joaquin Correa to leave as early as the upcoming January transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 28-year-old is among the players who the Nerazzurri would certainly listen to offers for, and that Borussia Monchengladbach’s Marcus Thuram would be lined up to replace him.

Correa has yet to really hit his best form since joining Inter in the summer of 2021, whilst the Argentine has missed out on the World Cup with his national team through injury, a persistent theme for him over the last year and a half.

The Nerazzurri would listen to offers for the 28-year-old in January, according to the Gazzetta, as they look to fund other transfer business.

Should Correa leave in January, Inter’s target to replace him like for like immediately would be Gladbach forward Thuram.
