The agent of Racing Club midfielder Carlos Alcaraz has confirmed that the 19-year-old is a target for Inter, and also AC Milan.

Speaking to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport in an interview published in today’s print edition, via FCInterNews, Alcaraz’s agent Sebastian Lopez confirmed talks with the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri as well as teams in England and Portugal.

Alcaraz’s form with Racing Club has marked him out as a player who could be ready to make the move to European football.

The young Argentine has been linked to the Nerazzurri particularly in recent reports, which have suggested that he has been scouted by Nerazzurri Assistant Sporting Director Dario Baccin.

The 19-year-old could be a target to reinforce the midfield even as early as the January transfer window, particularly in the event that Roberto Gagliardini leaves the club.

Lopez talked about the considerations for Alcaraz’s future, stating that “We have an option from England and another from Portugal, but neither Inter or Milan have had their directors contact me in the last few hours.”

“The clubs we have spoken to are at a high level,” he continued, “Inter and Milan would be great destinations for him.”

“The Nerazzurri, perhaps given that they’ve had history with Milito and now Lautaro, are particularly interested in Carlos.”

As for the price tag for the midfielder, Lopez explained “Around €15 million, although that could be lowered with a percentage of future resale being included.”

And asked whether Inter-owned striker Facundo Colidio could be part of a deal for Alcaraz, Lopez replied that “I don’t know Facundo or his agent, but I know that every club in Argentina is interested in him after his season with Tigre.”
