Frosinone could make the loan move of Inter-owned striker Samuele Mulattieri into a permanent deal next season if they are promoted to Serie A.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908, who report that the 22-year-old could sign for the Lazio-based club if they are able to keep their current high-flying form up.

Frosinone are currently at the top of the Serie B table after having been the standout team in the Italian second division over the period going into the World Cup break.

Nerazzurri striker Mulattieri has spent the season on loan, helping Frosinone to establish a five-point gap over closest rivals Reggina in the table.

The Lazio-based club will now be seriously hoping that they can reach promotion to the top flight.

In the event that Frosinone do get promoted to Serie A, there would be a real chance of them signing Mulattieri permanently.
