Inter could offer young midfielder Giovanni Fabbian to Atalanta as part of a deal to sign defender Giorgio Scalvini.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri would be ready to use Fabbian to try and meet La Dea’s valuation of Scalvini who has emerged as a major target for them.

Inter have taken a serious interest in signing Scalvini, but the 19-year-old will not come cheap.

Atalanta do not tend to allow players to go for cheap, whilst the interest of Juventus and Manchester City in the young defender will only increase his asking price.

The Nerazzurri could try and agree a deal with Atalanta on the basis of an initial loan containing an obligation to buy.

Fabbian could be offered as part of a deal, with the 19-year-old midfielder a player Atalanta are big fans of.

Fabbian is currently on loan in Serie B with Reggina this season.
