Young Inter midfielder Giovanni Fabbian could be recalled to the Nerazzurri’s first team next season if he continues to impress with his form on loan at Reggina.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908, who report that the 19-year-old could already have a place in the midfield rotation of his parent club’s midfield plans.

Fabbian joined Reggina in Serie B on loan during the summer transfer window.

The aim was to get the young midfielder up to speed within the senior professional game after he had impressed with the Primavera side.

Playing under Filippo Inzaghi, legendary former AC Milan and Juventus striker and brother of Inter coach Simone Inzaghi, Fabbian has had something of a breakout season.

Accordingly, it cannot be excluded that if Fabbian continues on this path, he could earn a spot in the Nerazzurri’s senior team plans for next season.
