Young Inter-owned midfielder Lucien Agoume is likely to stay on loan at Troyes for the rest of the current season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908, who report that the 21-year-old is not likely to cut his loan spell short despite having had his time this season limited due to injury.

Agoume joined Troyes on loan for the season, having shone in his previous season on loan at Brest.

The young Frenchman had been hoping that he could continue the momentum of his previous season by playing in Ligue 1 for another season.

However, the midfielder was unfortunate to pick up an injury just a few matches into the campaign.

The problem has meant that Agoume has not been able to feature in any matches for Troyes going into the World Cup.

However, the midfielder intends to stay and try to get his season back on track over the rest of the campaign when he recovers.
