Inter are keen on signing Rennes wingback Adrien Truffert as a possible replacement for Robin Gosens on their left flank.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 21-year-old’s name has emerged on the Nerazzurri’s list of possible targets to back up Federico Dimarco if Gosens leaves.

Inter are exploring all possible options at left-wingback, and 21-year-old French international Truffert is a serious possibility.

The left-wingback has become a regular in the Rennes first team, and was also handed his first team debut for Les Bleus by coach Didier Deschamps in a Nations League match against Denmark in September.

Truffert is proficient playing the wide left role in a 3-5-2 system, another quality which could make him a strong option for the profile the Nerazzurri seek.

According to the Gazzetta, the price tag for Truffert would be around €15 million in total.
