Salernitana as well as unnamed teams in Serie B are interested in signing Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito during the January transfer window.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the 20-year-old is a target for a number of teams in Italy on loan over the second half of the season.

Esposito’s loan with Belgian giants Anderlecht is set to be cut short after he was not a major part of their first team plans across the first half of the campaign.

The young striker will look for a new loan club over the remainder of the season.

According to the Gazzetta, there is interest in signing Esposito from teams in Italy.

Among Serie A clubs, Salernitana have asked about the availability of Esposito and the possible terms of a deal, whilst the striker, who has already been loaned to SPAL and Venezia in the past, is also a target for teams in the second division.
