Torino defender Kofi Djidji has requested around €2 million net per season in wages if he is to join Inter on a free transfer next summer.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 29-year-old Ivorian international’s agent has been in contact with the Nerazzurri, who are interested in signing him to reinforce their defense.

Djidji’s contract with Torino runs out at the end of June 2023, and the Ivorian does not look likely to agree an extension with the Granata.

The Nerazzurri are considering a move for him given that he has proven himself in a back three defensive system and in Serie A, as they seek to reinforce the team with reliable defensive depth.

Inter have spoken with Djidji’s agent Paulo Busardo about a possible move.

The defender’s agent has put forward his wage demands, which would be for around €1.5-2 million net per season to join on a free transfedr.
