Inter are waiting for defender Milan Skriniar to return to Milan from his vacation in Dubai so that they can resume contract extension talks with he and his representatives.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 27-year-old is currently on holiday and that the contract talks are on hold until he returns.

Skriniar has been given some time off along with the rest of the Nerazzurri squad not at the World Cup with their national sides.

The Slovakian has decided to take a vacation in Dubai immediately after finishing up with his international duty, rather than returning to Milan.

Accordingly, the contract talks with the defender and his entourage are currently on hold for Inter.

The Nerazzurri are hoping to get back to the table not long after Skriniar returns to Italy once he is called up to training with the squad.
