Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana feels that the love that he gets from Nerazzurri supporters is special, and unlike the support from any other fans.

Speaking to Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport in an interview published in today’s print edition, via FCInterNews, the Cameroonian gave his thoughts on how his first few months at the Nerazzurri have left a very positive impression on him.

Onana has only been an Inter player since the summer transfer window, but the 26-year-old has already started to really establish himself.

Moreover, the former Ajax keeper seems to have already won over the fans, with both the quality of his performances since he has come into the starting eleven and also the personality that he’s shown.

For his part, the 26-year-old feels that this is very much reciprocated from a special fanbase who have made the team and the players feel particularly loved.

“Milan is magnificent,” Onana said, “the only thing missing is the sea and then it’s the ideal place to live.”

“I’m African, black, but I live among white people, I respect the rules and try to assert myself.”

“The Inter fans are incredible,” the keeper went on.

“When, against Plzen, Lukaku I started to warm up, the ground was shaking under my feet,” he said, “I’ve never seen love from fans like that.”

“Now they’re starting to love me too.”
