Paris Saint-Germain have not completely given up hope of signing Inter defender Milan Skriniar, whilst Chelsea are also interested.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 27-year-old is still waiting for the Nerazzurri to raise their contract extension before he commits to a new deal.

Skriniar is currently on vacation in Dubai, but when he returns the contract talks with Inter will resume.

The Nerazzurri have put €5.5 million net per season rising to €6 million with add-ons, but the Slovakian expects a deal equivalent to the €6.5 million net per season plus add-ons that Marcelo Brozovic earns.

Accordingly, PSG are still hopeful that the Slovakian could decide to reject Inter’s offer, in which case the Parisians would offer him €8.5 million net per season to sign.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are also tracking Skriniar, as they look to reinforce their defence.

The Blues’ main targets however are RB Leipzig duo Mohamed Simakan and Josko Gvardiol.
