Former Fiorentina and Juventus striker Valeri Bojinov expects that Inter and AC Milan are far from out of the race for the Serie A title.

Speaking to Italian news outlet FirenzeViola, the Bulgarian backed both of the two Milan teams to stay in the Scudetto race until the end, and also gave the view that Juventus are recovering.

Looking at the Serie A title headed into the World Cup break, Napoli’s lead looks to be very formidable indeed.

The Partenopei have an eight-point gap on Milan, ten on Juventus, and eleven on Inter.

The Rossoneri, and Bianconeri, and the Nerazzurri will all need to not just be at their absolute best, but also hope that Napoli stumble and drop points over the remaining 23 matches of the season.

For his part, Bojinov feels that the trio can still hope for something, and that they have a good chance of being stronger over the second half of the campaign than they have been over the first.

“Of course, Napoli is the team that have the most attractive style of play,” he said.

“But the Milan teams are not giving up, Juve is recovering, and the Roman teams are getting some important players back.”

“I hope it’s an entertaining title race until the end,” Bojinov added.
