The total value of Inter’s brand according to Italian media is €218 million, whilst that of city rivals AC Milan is €174 million.

This according to Italian financial news outlet Milano Finanza, who calculate the total value of the two Milanese clubs’ brands based on the value of equity and cash flow of their sporting operations.

Inter and Milan have increasingly been looking to monetize their operations in order to keep up at the top end of European football, as have other clubs in the Italian top flight.

To this end, the clubs have been turning to independent advisors to revalue their brands as part of a broader aim to increase liquidity and financial security, as well as seeking investment or possible sales.

As Milano Finanza note, based on a number of factors related to equity value, cash flow, and income relative to costs, the Nerazzurri’s brand is worth €218 million whilst the Rossoneri’s is valued at €174 million.

For comparison, Napoli’s brand is valued at €75 million.
