Inter are set to offer wingback Matteo Darmian a two-season contract extension.
This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzurri can take advantage of the Grwoth Decree tax benefits in making their offer to the 32-year-old, and will offer wages of around €3 million net per season.
Darmian’s current contract with Inter is set to run out at the end of June 2023.
However, the club still consider the former Manchester United, Parma, and Torino wingback to be an important part of the plans past the end of the current season.
Accordingly, extending Darmian’s current contract is set to be on the club’s agenda for the near future.
Inter’s current priority is to get a deal wrapped up with defender Milan Skriniar, whose contract extension is the main priority, but they are not waiting around with Skriniar’s situation either.
Rather, the wingback should be offered a new two-year deal soon.
