Inter’s board of directors have made finding a new main shirt sponsor to replace DigitalBits an imminent priority.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri board will discuss the shirt sponsorship situation as one of the main items on the agenda as they are set to meet today.

Inter’s deal with DigitalBits has looked to be in serious jeopardy for some time, as the cryptocurrency company’s financial crisis has meant that they have been unable to make payments on their shirt sponsorship agreement.

Accordingly, the Nerazzurri do not want to wait around much longer to find a new sponsor to replace DigitalBits.

The Nerazzurri’s intention is to replace the cryptocurrency company permanently as soon as possible.

Accordingly, when the club’s board meet today in a videoconference meeting, the options for a new shirt sponsor will be one of the main topics up for discussion on the agenda.
