Inter’s medical staff are in constant contact with their counterparts in the Belgian national team regarding updates on the recovery of striker Romelu Lukaku.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the Nerazzurri are being kept up to speed on any progress and developments, as well as possible decisions being made about the 29-year-old.

Lukaku has been working to get back to full fitness with the Red Devils squad at the World Cup in Qatar.

The Nerazzurri striker has so far made only a camero appearance for his country, coming off the bench in the latter stages of the team’s 2-0 loss to Morocco over the weekend.

It remains to be seen whether Lukaku will be deemed fit to start the Red Devils’ final group stage match against Croatia.

Inter’s medical staff are getting regular updates from the medical staff of the Belgian national team on the situation with Lukaku.
