The Croatian national team took a big step towards qualifying for the World Cup round of sixteen by beating Canada in their second group stage match.
Canada raced to an early lead with the earliest goal scored at the tournament, but then the Croats gradually played their way into the match, coming back within the first half and then finishing with a 4-1 scoreline.
Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic was at the heart of Croatia’s display, and posted on his Instagram account after the match to celebrate.
