Inter aren’t planning to go beyond €6 million net per season plus add-ons in their contract extension offer to defender Milan Skriniar.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are now awaiting the response from the 27-year-old and his representatives.

Skriniar is still on vacation in Dubai but will soon return to Milan where contract talks should start back up with the Nerazzurri.

Continued negotiations will run concurrently with the Slovakian’s participation with the team’s training retreat in Malta over the World Cup break.

According to the Gazzetta the Nerazzurri have not made a higher offer than €6 million net per season in terms of a fixed amount for a contract extension, although the add-ons could be negotiated.

As far as what the 27-year-old and his representatives want, they would still hope for €6.5 million net per season rising to €7-7.5 million with add-ons, similar to what Marcelo Brozovic earns on a contract signed in the spring.
