Tottenham Hotspur have joined their Premier League rivals Chelsea in looking to sign Inter wingback Denzel Dumfries.

This according to UK news outlet 90Min, who report that the London-based club have asked the Nerazzurri for information regarding the availability of the former PSV wingback.

Dumfiries has already been a target for Chelsea for some time, but they are not the only team in London with an interest in signing the 26-year-old.

Former Nerazzurri coach Antonio Conte is looking to strengthen his options at right-wingback, given that he is not fully convinced by either Matt Doherty or Emerson Royal, whilst summer signing Djed Spence could go out on loan.

Accordingly, Conte sees Dumfries as having the right profile to play in his system.

90Min report that Spurs have asked Inter for information about a possible move for Dumfries.

The news outlet note that Inter are almost certain to have to sell a big name player, and that while that had at one point looked likely to be Milan Skriniar, the interest of Chelsea and Spurs means that it could instead be Dumfries.
