Inter have been in talks with Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie and his representatives since the spring before he moved to the Blaugranas from AC Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri’s interest in signing the 25-year-old remains real despite denials by his agent and conflicting reports.

Inter have been linked with a possible move for Kessie should the Ivorian leave Barcelona.

The Nerazzurri would need to sign the former Milan and Atalanta midfielder on loan, and would need to find a formula that makes his €6.5 million net per season financially feasible in order to get a deal done.

However, according to the Corriere, they are serious about signing Kessie should he want a Barcelona exit due to limited playing time with the La Liga leaders.

The Corriere report that Inter have been in talks with Kessie’s representatives since the spring before he decided to move to Barcelona on a free transfer.

The newspaper report that the midfielder has already been tentatively offered both to Inter and back to Milan, with the Nerazzurri more interested.
