Inter’s squad has reconvened today, and will spend the next couple of days training at the club’s training centre in Milan before travelling to Malta for their week-long training retreat.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri will have four training sessions over the weekend before heading to Malta on Sunday afternoon to begin their retreat.

Inter’s squad had been given a break, with those players not at the World Cup with their national teams allowed some time off to rest from the packed schedule of the club season so far.

However, all players not at the World Cup are expected to be back in training today.

The team will have a total of four athletic training sessions over the next couple days to start building physical condition ahead of the return to Serie A, and then the players at the World Cup will gradually filter back into the squad after the retreat in Malta.
