Young Inter owned goalkeeper Filip Stankovic and midfielder Gaetano Oristanio have both been maintaining their regular places in Eredivisie side Volendam’s starting eleven despite the team being bottom of the table.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInter1908, who report that the pair remain highly rated even in spite of the fact that the club that they are on loan with are struggling this season.

Stankovic and Oristanio had both been among the players who helped Volendam reach promotion to the Eredivisie from the Dutch second division during their loan spells last season.

This convinced the Dutch side to extend both of their loan spells in the summer.

Right now, the newly-promoted side have been struggling to make the adjustment to the top flight, sitting dead last in the Eredivisie table with just six points.

However, both Stankovic and Oristanio have continued to have the trust of the club, and are seen as on track in their development despite the setback faced by their loan team.
