Inter are still deciding on the future of striker Sebastiano Esposito but intend to send him back out on loan in the January transfer window.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, the 20-year-old is likely to be recalled from a loan spell at Anderlecht at the turn of the year, having only registered a single goal in 14 Belgian First Division games this season.

The Nerazzurri would prefer to keep Esposito in Italy but have no place for them in their first team squad, and are keen for him to depart again for the second half of the season so as to experience more senior football.

Esposito is not thought to be short of suitors, with clubs from across both Serie A and Serie B ready to come forward and submit an offer to secure him for the remainder of the campaign.

The former Venezia loanee has made 15 appearances for Inter’s first team, from 2018 to 2020, scoring once.
