Inter are set to send goalkeeper Andrei Radu back on loan in January, after the Romanian fell down the pecking order at current club Cremonese.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, Radu is likely to be recalled by the Nerazzurri after failing to establish himself as first choice with Cremonese, following the return to fitness of Marco Carnesecchi.

However, Radu will not remain at the Nerazzurri for long, with plans to send him back out on loan immediately and his next destination could see him move to Ligue 1.

French club Saint-Etienne have shown an interest in the 25-year-old are ready to bring him in on loan until the end of the season.

Meanwhile, third choice goalkeeper Alex Cordaz will remain at Inter for the remainder of the campaign and the Nerazzurri may even look to extend his contract for a further year.

Any decision on this is being deferred until the spring though, with Inter still waiting for further clarity on the future of second choice Samir Handanovic.
