Inter are ready to seek out alternatives should goalkeeper Samir Handanovic depart at the end of the season, and could make a move for Monza’s Michele Di Gregorio.

According to L’Interista.it, the Nerazzurri are likely to see Handanovic end his 11-year stint with the club when his contract expires at the end of the campaign, with the 38-year-old now relegated to back-up to Andre Onana after losing his place in the team.

However, it is reported that Inter could also be at risk of losing Onana just one year after landing him on a free transfer from Ajax, with the Biscione not ruling out a sale should they receive a significant offer for the Cameroon international.

This has prompted CEO Beppe Marotta to consider available options, and should Inter decide to go for an Italian goalkeeper they will put their efforts into signing Di Gregorio.

The 25-year-old came through Inter’s youth system and only left the club for Monza this summer, but the Nerazzurri continue to monitor his progress closely.
