Inter took to Social Media to reminisce, as they celebrated a first half hattrick by Adriano in a 5-0 thrashing of Messina in 2004.
The Nerazzurri used their Twitter account to post a video of the former Brazil international scoring three times before the break, as Inter romped to victory at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, with the caption: “On this day in 2004: Adriano nets a first-half hat-trick in a resounding win over Messina.”
Christian Vieri and a Dimitrios Eleftheropoulos own goal completed the scoring for Inter, who played the second half a man down after Francesco Toldo’s red card.
