Inter wingback Denzel Dumfries feels that he is not yet done showing his quality at the World Cup in Qatar.

Speaking to Dutch news outlet NOS, via FCInterNews, the 26-year-old confidently predicted that he could have even more memorable matches and moments than his standout performance in the Netherlands’ 3-1 round of sixteen win over the US.

Dumfries and the Netherlands did not necessarily start the World Cup showing their best form, despite the fact that they managed to qualify for the knockout rounds of the tournament from top spot in Group A.

However, the Orange produced their most emphatic display yet to beat the US 3-1 and reach the quarterfinals.

Dumfries was man of the match with his goal and two assists.

As far as the Nerazzurri wingback is concerned, however, the best has not yet been seen from he and the Dutch national team in Qatar.

“My best is yet to come here,” the 26-year-old predicted, “we have goals that are a lot bigger than the round of sixteen.”
