Inter and Napoli are both targeting Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie, although Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are as well and could have an advantage over the Italian clubs in signing him.

This according to Spanish news outlet Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that Spurs’ ability to pay the Ivorian’s current wages and also potentially sign him permanently could put them in the drivers seat ahead of the Nerazzurri and the Partenopei.

A departure from Barcelona could very well be on the cards for Kessie in the coming transfer windows.

The 25-year-old former Atalanta and AC Milan midfielder could return to Serie A.

Inter and Napoli have both been in contact with Kessie’s representatives, according to Sport.

However, Spurs are also keen, and have spoken directly with Barcelona about a transfer.

The Premier League team could likely afford the 25-year-old’s current wages on a loan deal, whilst they would also be better-positioned to offer Barcelona a deal that would eventually become a permanent sale than Inter or Napoli.
