There is no doubt that midfielder Kristjan Asllani is part of Inter’s plans for the future, well past the end of the current season.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta.it, who report that despite the fact that the Albanian is technically only on loan from Empoli, the loan should soon become a permanent transfer.
Asllani joined Inter on loan during the summer transfer window.
Technically, the 20-year-old midfielder only made the switch on an initial loan move.
However, the loan deal with Empoli contains a clause which stipulates that the Nerazzurri will buy Asllani outright as soon as they pick up their first points in Serie A after the January transfer window closes.
Accordingly, it is only a matter of time before the Albanian’s loan move is made permanent.
As far as Inter is concerned, there have never been any doubts about the 20-year-old’s suitability to become a major part of their project for the future.
