Inter wingback Denzel Dumfries is once again set to start for the Dutch national team in their World Cup quarterfinal match against Argentina this evening.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 25-year-old Nerazzurri wingback will start against the Albiceleste as he has all of the Netherlands’ matches so far in Qatar.

Dumfries started all three of the Oranje’s group stage matches, against the likes of Senegal, Qatar, and Ecuador.

The Inter wingback had not shown his best form in those matches, failing to score or assist a goal, but had a standout match in their round of sixteen win over the US, scoring one goal and assisting two more.

Accordingly, it is perhaps little surprise that Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal will continue to place his faith in the Nerazzurri wingback.

The complete predicted eleven for the match is as follows:

Netherlands (3-4-1-2): Noppert; Timber, Van Dijk, Aké; Dumfries, De Roon, F. De Jong, Blind; Klaassen; Gakpo, Depay.
