Salernitana have contacted the representatives of Inter goalkeeper Andrei Radu about a possible loan move in January.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Campanian club are thinking of Radu as a possible target to replace the injured Luigi Sepe during the January transfer window.
Sepe has picked up a muscle problem that could cause him to miss significant time across the rest of the season.
The 31-year-old is Salernitana’s first-choice keeper, and so the Granata are considering possible options to reinforce in the position over the remainder of the campaign.
Radu’s loan spell with Cremonese is set to come to an end in January prematurely due to having fallen behind Atalanta-owned Marco Carnesecchi in the pecking order.
The Romanian’s agent Oscar Damiani has been in search of a new loan club for him in January, with French clubs Reims and Saint-Etienne among the teams he’s spoken to.
However, Salernitana Sporting Director Morgan De Sanctis has also contacted Damiani to ask for information.
