Inter have a clear idea of how they want to reach their target of €60 million net profit in the January transfer window, involving a likely sale of wingback Denzel Dumfries as well as other smaller sales.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who detail the Nerazzurri’s strategy to meet their goal, noting that it could change if they are unable to extend Milan Skriniar’s contract.
Inter did not make a big name sale during the summer transfer window as they had been expected to.
Accordingly, the club are still reported to need to bring in more cash from the transfer window before the fiscal year ends in June of next year to meet their objectives.
A sale of Dumfries looks increasingly likely, Tuttosport reports, as the club have decided that of all of the highest-value players in the squad, the Dutchman would be the one they are most willing to sacrifice.
Meanwhile, Valentino Lazaro is likely to join Torino permanently for a fee of €6 million next summer.
The likes of Stefano Sensi, Lucien Agoume, and Facundo Colidio could all be sold permanently in the near future, and these sales along with that of Dumfries should more than meet the target of €60 million at the end of the fiscal year.
