Inter still haven’t given up on the possibility of signing Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram during the January transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are still strategizing on a possible January move for the 25-year-old, whilst Juventus are keen for next summer and Bayern Munich still lead the way.

It’s no secret that Thuram will be considered a major free transfer opportunity during the summer, so the Nerazzurri have been considering trying to move for him as early as the January window to anticipate the competition.

Meanwhile, Tuttosport reports, Juventus are also keen on Thuram.

However, the Bianconeri would have little intention of signing the Frenchman as early as January, as their attack is not a priority during the January window.

However, the Bianconeri could be looking for a replacement for Angel Di Maria in attack in June given that his contract runs out at the end of the season and no negotiations have begun on an extension.

Meanwhile, Tuttosport reports, Bayern remain the favourites for Thuram’s signature as ever, whilst Napoli are not realistically in the race as they would be unable to meet the player’s wage demands.
