All of Inter forward Joaquin Correa, wingback Matteo Darmian, and defender Danilo D’Ambrosio are set to return to full training with the rest of the squad on Monday.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the trio will be back in training after the weekend, whilst Andre Onana made his return yesterday and striker Romelu Lukaku is back today.
Inter’s squad had already reassembled and travelled to Malta for a training retreat over the last week, from which they returned yesterday.
Those players who have been at the World Cup with their national teams were not part of the group, whilst all of Correa, Darmian, and D’Ambrosio have been working individually to recover from injuries.
All three of the trio will be back in training Monday as Simone Inzaghi starts to have more and more of his full squad at his disposal to prepare for the return of Serie A on January 4.
