Inter wingback Matteo Darmian was back in full training, whilst defender Danilo D’Ambrosio and Joaquin Correa still worked individually to recover from injuries.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who reported this afternoon via FCInterNews that the Nerazzurri’s full squad is starting to come together in training.

Darmian, D’Ambrosio, and Correa all stayed behind to work individually whilst the rest of the team not either at the World Cup in Qatar or on post-World Cup vacation travelled to Malta over the last week.

However, all three made significant progress on their return to fitness.

In Darmian’s case, the 33-year-old former Manchester United wingback was deemed to be significantly recovered to join the rest of the group for today’s training session, where he worked normally and completed a session.

Meanwhile, D’Ambrosio and Correa are yet to reach the physical condition to return to full training, and so both of the pair continued to work individually today.
