Inter have been offered the chance to sign Corinthians centre-back Robert Renan, but the Nerazzurri are only interested in bringing him in for next season.

According to FCInterNews.it, the Brazil U-20 captain has been proposed to Inter directors Piero Ausilio and Dario Baccin by his entourage, with Renan already establishing himself as a first-team regular with O Timao despite only recently turning 19.

Inter consider Renan a talented prospect and have not rejected the idea of signing him outright, but do not feel that he is ready to make an impact on their squad yet and are not willing to commit to signing him in January.

However, they would look at revisiting a move for him at the end of the season should one of Milan Skriniar or Stefan De Vrij not sign a new contract and leave on a free transfer, or Francesco Acerbi does not join on a permanent deal at the conclusion of his loan from Lazio.

Renan has other options beyond Inter, with Atalanta and Torino registering an interest in him in Serie A, and Portuguese league leaders Benfica also tracking him.
