Inter remain hopeful of signing wingback Raoul Bellanova outright from Cagliari at the end of the season, despite his limited appearances.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri have been impressed with 22-year-old and see great potential in him, after he arrived on loan from Cagliari in the summer.

Bellanova has only made 11 appearances in all competitions for Inter this season, with the majority of those coming from the bench, but the Biscione are still assessing the possibility of securing him permanently.

The former Bordeaux player joined Inter on loan at a cost of €3 million, and there is a clause in place that would allow the Nerazzurri to secure him for a further €7m by next summer.

However, Inter are keen to renegotiate this and hope to reach an agreement with Cagliari to bring that price down somewhat.

Alternatively, Inter could offer the Sardinian club a player in exchange to counterbalance the cost of signing Bellanova.
