After bringing Romelu Lukaku back to the club one year after selling him, Inter have very little chance of repeating that with Paris Saint-Germain wingback Achraf Hakimi.

As reported by FCInterNews.it, the Morocco international has remained close to Inter since being sold to PSG in 2021, in the same summer that Lukaku completed his switch to Chelsea, and would be open to joining the club again in the future.

However, any prospects of the Nerazzurri bringing Hakimi back soon are reported to be practically impossible, with his circumstances in Ligue 1 far different to that of Lukaku’s.

Belgium striker Lukaku failed to settle in at Chelsea and fell out with coach Thomas Tuchel, whilst his poor form in the Premier League and a change of ownership in West London allowed Inter to bring him back on loan in the summer.

On the other hand, Hakimi has settled into life in Paris well and is a first-team regular, whilst PSG are not willing to make a loss on the 24-year-old.

The former Real Madrid player left Inter for €70 million, including bonuses, and PSG would demand at least €90m to sell.

Lukaku and Hakimi were sold by Inter just weeks after the club had secured a first Serie A title in 11 years, as they sought to balance the books amidst financial concerns.
