Reggina coach Filippo Inzaghi admitted that he is pleased with the progress of Inter loanee Giovanni Fabian, whilst was also glad to see brother and current Nerazzurri boss Simone today.

The Amaranto snatched a 1-0 win over Como at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia in Serie B this afternoon to move to within three points of leaders Frosinone, and midfielder Fabbian was a second half substitute, introduced shortly before the only goal.

In an interview with Italian television broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, and as reported by FCInterNews.it, Inzaghi offered his thoughts on Fabbian following his temporary switch from the Nerazzurri, as well as brother Simone being in the stands to watch the game.

“Did Simone tell me that Fabbian is coming back? I know he was in the stands, Giovanni must grow slowly and calmly, we will make him develop well,” the former AC Milan striker claimed.

“I haven’t met with Simone yet but I’m glad he came. He saw a good Reggina team who won a tough game,” he concluded.

Fabbian has made 17 appearances in Serie B for Reggina this season, scoring five goals and providing one assist.

The 19-year-old is yet to make a senior appearance for Inter, after arriving from Padova in 2018.
