Hellas Verona have set the asking price for wingback Josh Doig at €7 million amid interest from Inter as well as Bologna.

This according to today’s print edition of Verona-based newspaper Corriere di Verona, via FCInterNews, who report that the Gialloblu would want at least this amount for the 20-year-old, and would prefer a cash deal up-front to any loan arrangements.

Doig’s name has been linked with Inter recently as a possible reinforcement at left-wingback in the event that Robin Gosens is sold.

The young Scottish wingback is only part of the way through his first season in Serie A, but has impressed sufficiently that transfer interest has already started to emerge around him.

According to the Corriere, Verona have turned down an offer from Bologna involving a loan swap with midfielder Emanuele Vignato, as they prefer a straight cash offer.

The Gialloblu want at the very least €7 million if they are to sell Doig.
