Inter forward Joaquin Correa and defender Danilo D’Ambrosio worked on their own in training today rather than participating in a full session along with the rest of the group.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the duo both worked on individual recovery programs as they continue to return to fitness following injuries.
Correa has been recovering from a knock to his Achilles tendon, which caused the 28-year-old to miss out on participation in the World Cup in Qatar with the Argentine national team.
No risks are being taken with the Argentine’s fitness, and he continues to work on his individual recovery program to regain full fitness rather than coming back into full training with the rest of the Nerazzurri’s squad.
Meanwhile, D’Ambrosio missed out on the last few weeks of the season going into the World Cup break through injury.
The 34-year-old continues to recover, and was not part of today’s training session with the rest of the squad.
