Inter are optimistic ahead of the expected final response of Milan Skriniar to their contract extension offer this week.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri believe that they will be able to make up any remaining differences between parties in negotiations.
Inter have scheduled a meeting with Skriniar’s representatives for this weak which they hope will be the decisive one in contract extension talks.
The player’s representatives are still hoping for a base salary of around €7 million net per season, beyond the €6.2 million net that Lautaro Martinez earns and the €6.5 million net that Marcelo Brozovic earns.
However, Inter are hoping that with the inclusion of add-ons, they can quickly reach a figure that Skriniar and his representatives are happy with.
The Corriere reports that a signing bonus could be part of an incentive for the Slovakian to sign a new deal.
