Inter used Social Media to look back on a memorable day in the club’s history, as they marked 17 years since Adriano hit a stoppage time winner in the Derby della Madonnina against AC Milan.

The Brazilian striker was rampant as the Nerazzurri won 3-2, as he scored two goals either side of an Obafemi Martins effort, to cancel out goals from Milan pair Andriy Shevchenko and Jaap Stam.

Adriano’s second came in stoppage time to give Inter victory, and the club posted a video on Twitter with the caption: “Can’t beat a stoppage-time winner in the derby. Adriano was the late hero on this day in 2005”
