Inter forward Joaquin Correa is getting very close to being fit enough to return to full training.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 28-year-old is nearing his best condition as he returns to get back to working with the rest of the squad.
No risks have been taken with rushing Correa back to training.
The Argentine missed out on the World Cup with his national team due to a knock to his Achilles tendon, and the aim has been for him to slowly and methodically work to put the setback behind him.
The hope will be that, as the second part of the season approaches, Correa can be fully fit and able to have a sustained run of performances in a Nerazzurri shirt, something which injuries have largely prevented for him so far.
The signs are positive that Correa can return to training in the next few days, and work to be ready at peak condition in January.
