Inter are hoping that there will be a bidding war to sign wingback Denzel Dumfries so that they can get as high a fee as possible on a transfer.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who reported his afternoon via FCInterNews that the Nerazzurri are watching the interest develop from the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich in view of a possible transfer battle for the 26-year-old.

Inter are increasingly considering cashing in on Dumfries following the form that the Dutchman showed at the World Cup in Qatar, which has only caused his market value to increase.

The Nerazzurri’s asking price for the former PSV wingback could be as high as €60 million.

Inter are not likely to let Dumfries leave during the January transfer window, particularly if an offer that meets their €60 million asking price does not arrive.

However, the Nerazzurri are waiting to see what offers arrive from Chelsea, United, and Bayern in view of next summer, when they hope that Dumfries is the subject of a bidding war.
