Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag has made Inter wingback Denzel Dumfries a top target as the Premier League giants search for a new right-back signing.
This according to German broadcaster Sky Sports Deutschland, via FCInterNews, who report that the Red Devils coach wants to prioritize a move for the 26-year-old ahead of other targets like Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong and Lyon’s Malo Gusto.
Transfer interest in Dumfries is starting to heat up, particularly after the Dutchman’s outstanding performance for his national team against the US at the World Cup in Qatar.
Teams in the Premier League are keen on the former PSV wingback, and United could be pushed into the race by their coach.
According to Sky Deutschland, the Red Devils are getting ready to make a new signing for their right flank.
There are a few targets, but United coach ten Hag is a big fan of Dumfries, and would make the Nerazzurri wingback his top target.
