Legendary former Inter captain Giacinto Facchetti had a long and storied history playing for the Nerazzurri, lasting nearly two decades.
The fullback made his first-team debut for the club in 1960, and hung up his boots at the end of the 1977-78 season.
In his final campaign with the club, Facchetti did not score any Serie A goals, meaning that his final goal in the league in an Inter shirt was his solitary goal during the 1976-77 campaign, the deciding goal in a 1-0 victory over Sampdoria.
The club shared a video of Facchetti’s final Serie A goal in a post on their official Twitter account.
